The Single Outlet IP Switch allows you to monitor your network's connection status from anywhere. This remote IP power switch connects to your router and is designed to automatically check if the network connection is online. It can then reboot any connected piece of equipment either on demand, on a schedule or automatically when the internet connection fails. Users can also remotely turn on, turn off, or reset the outlet via the Android/iOS App or cloud management site, making it an easy tool for remotely managing offline equipment.
Remote reboot switches are ideal for home users who periodically have to manually power-cycle their router to regain internet connectivity, as well as IT professionals who need to automatically or remotely reset devices. In addition to resetting networks and devices, you can use the 5Gstore Single Outlet IP Switch to create an automatic power schedule for your network, or to prevent your connection from timing out or going dormant.
*The iPhone/Android application is required to update the firmware on the IP Switch. All other controls can be accessed either via the app, the cloud site, or the local web interface.
NOTE: the single-oulet switch cannot be configured for custom external or internal ping targets. If this is a feature that your application requires, please see the Dual Outlet IP Switch, which allows changes to be made to both external and internal IP addresses.
